Gunmen on Police uniform suspected to be kidnappers Yesterday January 8th,2019 killed one Pastor Onyebuchi Okpoko who is a native of Ogbugu town in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local Government area of Rivers state,Nigeria
We learnt that the Gunmen opened fire on the occupants of a vehicle coming from Omoku to PortHarcourt when the driver refused to stop and Pastor Okpoko was hit by bullet but died on his way to hospital
Confirming the incident, the Spokesperson of Rivers state Police command Nnamdi Omoni said the men of Rapid Response Squad who rushed down to the scene engaged the gunmen in a shoot out and rescued 7 passengers who was earlier kidnapped by the gunmen
He said efforts are on to track the fleeing gunmen.He also confirmed that the Pastor died on his way to hospital
