A human right group known as Civil Rights Council in Rivers State has commended the Officer in Charge(OC) of Legal department State Criminal Investigation Department(SCID) of Rivers State Police command Superintendent of Police(SP) Gladys Enoho Imegu Esq for the professionalism she has constantly displayed in discharge of her duties as since assumption of office as OC Legal.
Civil Rights Council made the disclosure when the group paid her a courtesy call in her office on Friday 20 December 2019.
Chairman of Civil Rights Council, Rivers State chapter, Prince Wiro who spoke on behalf of the group said the organization have received exciting reports of her good work and the impact she is putting in promoting law and order.
Mr. Wiro said the group wish to partner with her in enforcing the rule of law.
The state Chairman of the rights group noted that a working relationship between her office and the group will boost the fight against lawlessness and present a United front that will help check the prevelance of human rights abuses in the state.
Responding, SP Gladys Enoho Imegu Esq said her doors are open to members of the public. She said despite the challenges confronting her department,she is doing her best in enthronement of rule of law.
She commended Civil Rights Council for the visit.
