Destiny Asuquo the suspected shop burglar

A suspected shop burglar Destiny Asuquo from Oron in Akwa/Ibom State who was arrested by vigilante group at Rumuodara in Obi/Akpor local Government area of Rivers State, Nigeria has allegedly revealed that he broke into a shop to steal biscuits and mineral because of hunger.

The suspect made the revelation after he was caught by the vigilante group in the area early morning Thursday 10,October 2019.

The suspect who claimed to be a plumber said his friend whom he resides in his house is not aware he steals.

The President of Rumuodara Youth Association Frank Nzube Weli who spoke to Revelation Agents said the Youth of the area are determined in their quest to put an end to all forms of criminality in the community.

Mr. Weli maintained that the recent assassination attempt on his life by criminals will not deter him and the Youth to flush out criminals in the place. He revealed that the Youth and the vigilante group are working in synergy with the Police and other security agencies to ensure the area is crime free.

The Youth President advised persons with criminal tendencies to either repent , relocate from the community or face the full wrath of the law.

In the meantime, the suspect Destiny Asuquo had been handed over to Okporo Police Station in Rumuodara.

It would be recalled that one Nuhu Buhari a notorious shop burglar was caught by the vigilante group on Tuesday 8,October,2019 after he broke into a tailoring shop at Chukwu street, off R/D road in Rumuodara.

The suspect was also handed over to the Police.
