The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nigeria has condemned the use of its office in declaring Governorship ambition.
INEC in a statement released Today August 9,2019 by Festus Okoye (Esq) National Commissioner and Chairman voters education committee, revealed that the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of Cross River state, Frankland Briyai who announced his resignation as REC in a media parley yesterday did not follow laid procedure.
The Electoral umpire revealed that it, the commission is yet to get resignation letter of the REC.
