There was widespread jubilation in Ogu-Bolo local Government area of Rivers State as the state Government commissioned the Ogu-Bolo ring road 22 December 2019. The road was commissioned by representative of the Government senator George Sekibo.
The 1 Km road gives access to the sand field areas in Ogu-Bolo local government area.Senator Sekibo described the project as significant .He also thanked the Rivers State governor,Barr.Nyesom Wike for the approval of this amiable project in the Ogu-Bolo constituency.
Also speaking Hon.Evans Bipi, the member representing Ogu-Bolo constituency in Rivers House of Assembly also applauded the Governor for the release of funds for the project as it is beneficial to the people of Ogu-Bolo and Rivers State at large .

In attendance was Dame Patience Jonathan (wife of former president of Nigeria), Rt.Hon Ikuinyi Awaji Ibani(speaker Rivers State House of Assembly), Lawmakers from the Rivers State House of Assembly,Send. Magnus Abe, H.R.H Ateke Tom among other notable politicians in the state. lawmaker representing Okirika constituency, Hon.Linda Somari Stewart in an interview expressed satisfaction on the project while commending Hon.Evans Bipi for his perseverance towards the actualization of the project .
