Jubilation In Ogoni Community As Police Arrest Deadly Deygbam Cultist ‘Kill And Bury’, Exhume Corpses Of Slain Victims

There was wild jubilation on Thursday evening in B/dere community in Gokana local Government Area of Rivers State following the arrest of deadly Deygbam Cultist ‘Kill And Bury’ and one of his lieutenant.The community members who showered praise on the Police stated that the arrest of the cultist terrorizing the village has brought seigh of relieve to them. 
Speaking to newsmen the scene of the crime at a thick forest at Bera a neighbouring community to B/dere ,the spokesperson of Rivers State Police command, Deputy Superintendent of Police(DSP) Nnamdi Omoni explained that the three deceased victims Baridomale Sunday Tor, Baridon Gbarabera Asah, Barisiton Nawee were declared missing on 14th of March, 2020. 
DSP Omoni disclosed that report were made to the Police about the incident and following discreet investigation by the men of Anti-Cultism commander, the main suspect Barididum Danaa aka  ‘ kill and bury ‘ was arrested and his confession led to the arrest of another member of the group. 
In an interview with newsmen at the scene of the crime,  the Deygbam cult leader, admitted that his gang killed and buried the victims. He also confessed belonging to a Deygbam cult group and also an illegal oil bunkerer.
A community chief in B/dere,Nkah Baribe told Journalists that available information suggest the cultists killed the victims because they accused them of giving   information to security agencies that led to arrest of their gang  members.Our correspondent reports that three corpse which had decomposed were exhumed by the Police.
