The Rivers State Police command has confirmed the killing in Luubara community in Khana Local Government area of Rivers State.
The spokesperson of Rivers State Police command, SP Nnamdi Omoni in a statement on Wednesday December 30th,2020 said it was a cult clash between two rival groups leading to the death of one Bariya Timothy ‘m’ 35yrs, a notorious gang leader whose gang is responsible for the attacks in Lubara Community and its environs. SP Omoni disclosed that no arrest has been made, while adding that all hands on deck to arrest members of both cult groups. SP Omoni noted that the Community is peaceful and areas under close monitoring.
