The cult related killings seem to be spreading in Rivers state as suspected cultists kill one more person at popular Garrison junction in PortHarcourt local government area of Rivers state, Nigeria at about 1600 hours Today Monday, April 8,2019
Mr Lucky Akpelu a former Directorate of Social of Student Union Government the Rivers state University and Former Departmental President of Petro-Chemical student in Rivers state University between year 2015-2016 who witnessed the incident told our reporter that the Police came to the scene to get first hand information of what happened
He said the man was already lying dead in his pool of blood before the arrival of the Police
On Saturday, April 6,2019 eight persons were killed by suspected cultists in Mgbuodohia in Rumulomeni, Obi/Akpor local government area of Rivers state
Sunday Ordum, Chairman of Community Development Commitee (CDC) confirmed the incident to Journalists
On Sunday, April 7,2019 3 persons namely Bright Junior, Big Joe and one other person were killed at Rumuche community in Emohua local government area of Rivers state
Over the weekened, eight persons were killed in kaanee in Khana local government area of Rivers state
Nnamdi Omoni Police spokesperson in the state confirmed the killing in Khana and Obi/Akpor local government area in an interview with Journalists
The Police is yet to speak on the killing at garrison today evening as at time of this report
