One Nwoko Christopher has petitioned the Rivers state Police Command over defective charge preferred against Azika Ugochukwu by Officers of State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria
In a petition dated November 13, 2018 and made available to Revelation Agents Online News, the man through his Attorney, Rivers Civil Society Organizations demanded that the Commissioner of Police CP Zaki Ahmed should Investigate the Investigating Police Officers in the matter and ensure the charge is amended in order to bring the principal suspect to book.
The letter was jointly signed by Comrade Enefaa Georgewill and John Ihua the Chairman and Secretary of River Civil Society Organizations respectively.
The letter was copied to Deputy Commissioner in charge of SCID,P police Public Relations Officer in Rivers state.

One Mr NWoko Christopher of 5B Rex Lawson street Borokiri, Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria has expressed dissatisfaction against the charge, men of State Criminal Investigations Department(SCID), Rivers state Police Command preferred against a principal suspect in the murder of his son Success Christopher.
Speaking to Revelation Agents Online News, the father of success Christopher said “the Police had earlier charged two suspects involved in the murder of his son with murder on 9th October, 2018 when they were arraigned in court “on 9th of October, 2018.
He said “ am surprised that the principal suspect who the Police did not arraigned alongside the other two suspects on the 9th of October,2018 was charged “with conspiracy to murder with two others at large” when He was finally arraigned on 30th October,2018”.
He described the action of the Police as shocking.
Mr Nwoko had earlier told our reporter that five persons murdered his son on September 30th,2018 and through the help of the “Polo Chairmen” in the community three of the suspects were arrested and handed over to Borokiri Police Division in Borokiri who in turn transferred the suspects to SCID in Port Harcourt.
Meanwhile Revelation Agents Online News learnt that Mr Nwoko reported the matter to Rivers Civil Society Organizations, who through its Chairman Comrade Enefaa Georgewill drew the attention of the Rivers state Public Relations Officer, Omoni Nnamdi who promised to look into the matter but after one week He is yet to get back to the father of the deceased.
Meanwhile the Coordinator of Civil Rights Council in Rivers State, Barrister Paul Arochukwu Ogbonna Esq has described the charge preferred against the alleged principal suspect as defective. He told Revelation Agents Online News reporter that one person cannot conspire to commit a crime and as such the charge cannot fly.The lawyer added that even if the police want to charge the suspect for conspiracy they would have made reference to the other two persons in prison custody and not charging him with conspiracy with the other two at large.
The Public Relation s Officer of Rivers State Police Command, Omoni Nnamdi is yet to respond to text messages sent to him by Revelation Agents Online News on the matter
