One person was stabbed to death Yesterday night at 40B Azikiwe street,Mile 2,Diobu,PortHarcourt,Rivers state,Nigeria over argument relating to pasting of campaign postal of an All Progressive Congress party candidate
We gathered that the deceased known as Chimezie Dike hail from Nnkwere in Wagale Local Government Area of Imo state was pasting the postal of an APC Federal House of Representative candidate for PortHarcourt Federal constituency 11 when He was told not to paste it by one Chidi at 40B Azikiwe street.
The source said an argument broke out which led to the alleged stabbing of the deceased on the chest by the said Henry Ekeozor who is suspected to be member of opposition party
Friends who took the deceased to the hospital told Revelation Agents that He died on his way to the clinic due to excessive bleeding
Meanwhile suspected cultists believed to have sympathy for the deceased ransacked 40B Azikiwe in the night looting properties
A female staff of Rivers state Television,Ngozi Amadi confirmed to Revelation Agents today morning that her property were looted and they are going to the landlord’s house
As at press time we gathered that the Police has arrested the mother of the suspect “Masam” ify” who owns a drinking bar at the front of the compound
When our reporter visited the scene this morning,He saw a Police patrol van belonging to Asikiwe Divisional Police Headquarters stationed at the scene
The spokesperson OF Rivers Police command Omoni Nnamdi is yet to respond to text messages sent to his mobile phone on enquiries into the incident
