A popular Nigerian artist Muma Gee on Friday,28th February,2025 held a press conference in PortHarcourt,Rivers State where she gave insight on ‘The Shine Concert’ coming up on Sunday,9th March,2025 at Villa Tuscany hotel,20 Orogbum crescent GRA phase 11,PortHarcourt.
She stated that the Exclusive concert which will start with Red carpet between the hours of 4pm to 6pm promises to be very exciting and non-boring.
She disclosed that it is a single album,very inspirational song that encourages people to love themselves, be positive, have the mindset to shine for their destiny and future
Muma Gee who is also a graduate of Theatre Arts disclosed that her music is called soundAfriqu-e, brand of Africa music with other sound of musics.
“it could be reggae,Afrobeat” she said.
On her religious life, Muma Gee revealed that she is a dedicated Christain and want to make heaven, to see the God who distinguished her from millions from the street.
The Ekpeye born artist explained that Nigeria music is evolving,It is unique and dynamic to the world stage and has conquered the world.
“We are everywhere.We are indigenous people as Nigerians” she said.
Muma Gee asserted that she dont have a role model but dynarus a fashioner inspires her alot while Tina Turner on the stage aspect also inspires her
Muma Gee further disclosed that she took a break due for family sake.
She also regretted that Rivers State does not encourage their own artists compared to Lagos Government that does series of shows and invites Artists to participate.
