One Shot Dead In RiSU As Cultists Battle For,Supremacy Territorial Control

A male student said to be in 400 level at Faculty of Management Science in Rivers State University Nkpolu,Orowurokwo, Diobu on Thursday 19,August, 2021  was shot death by one ‘Peruzi’ a level 300  student at the faculty of Management Science .
Our source disclosed that ‘Peruzi ‘ the alleged assailant  who was later apprehended by the school security and officers attached to Nkpolu Divisional Police headquarters, Mile 3 diobu  a suspected  member of Vikings cult group while his  victim is said to be a member of Ku Klux Klans(KKK) cult group.
Eyewitness who pleaded anonymity said the deceased victim was shot on his head while he was eating at a restaurant in the faculty and the shooting resulted to pandemonium as students,staff scampered for safety
The Public Relation Officer of Rivers State Police Command,SP Nnamdi Omoni confirmed the incident in a text message but added that details is sketchy.
As at press time security operatives are in intense patrol inside RiSU campus to forestall reprisals and break down of law and order.
Recall on July 29,2021,the Rivers State Police spokesperson,SP Nnamdi Omoni  confirmed the arrest by Octopus Strike Force and recovery of short guns from a man in a hotel in Mile 3 diobu suspected to be Vikings cult leader in Risu.
It would also be recalled that one Blessing Ogolo a final year student of Mathematics department in month of March 2021  confirmed to Journalists that he apprehended his course mate who shot him after their examination and handed him over to the school security who in turn handed him over to the Police.
SP Nnamdi Omoni had at that time confirmed the incident and said the shooting of Ogolo who was  fingered as a cultist is cult related.
In July,2019 suspected KKK cult members allegedly led by Blessing Ogolo shot dead one Prince Tuaka suspected vikings number two man and ,a final year student inside RiSU campus.
Although Blessing Ogolo in an interview with Journalists in month of March 2021 when he was shot, denied being s cultist.
