The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has suspended its Deputy National Chairman, North of Peoples Democratic Party in Nigeria.
The party in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the party,Kola Ologbondiyan late Monday night said the party in its extraordinary National Working Committee meeting held on January 5th,2019 reviewed the petition against Senator Gamawa Babayo,PDP chairman north
The Party in the statement said
that it found merit in the petition of allegation of dereliction of duties and anti-party activities against Senator Babayo in line with section 58(1) e,f,g,h of the party constitution
The statement read that the NWC in exercise of section 29(2) a,b,c invokes 59(1) d of the party constitution on Deputy National Chairman (North) and accordingly suspends Him immediately from the party
