The Lagos State Police command has arrested a driver of a Toyota Camry who hit a woman around Igboefen area of the state on 26 December 2019 and ran away.
A Deputy Commissioner of Police((DCP) Disu Tunji who is also the Head of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police command confirmed the incident on his verified twitter handle today.
He said the suspect was arrested where the car was undergoing repair.
According to DCP Tunji the panel beater helping the suspect to repair the car ran away. He added the relatives of the woman have also come forward to identify her.
