Residents of 7 Dim Street Mile 3 Diobu,PortHarcourt,Rivers state, Nigeria have been rendered homeless following fire incident which occurred at about 12:00am on Friday 3 January 2020.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained at the moment. The fire razed the building completely.
Our correspondent reports that it took the intervention of men of fire service to stop the inferno from spreading to other buildings.
A resident of the compound Henry Okpara told Revelation Agents that he did not pick anything out of his house. He called on the Rivers State Government to come to their aid.
A representative of the fire service, Uchechukwu Igbor told Revelation Agents that the fire would have spread to other building if not for intervention of the fire service personnel. At press time residents are outside the building stranded.
