The Rivers State Police command says the command arrested one hundred and forty-five criminal suspects, neutralized nineteen armedrobbery suspects and rescued eleven kidnap victims between October 5,2022 till date.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Effiong Okon made the disclosure during a press briefing at Police headqurters, Moscow road, PortHarcourt on Friday.
CP Okon said the state has experienced a hitch free hitch free Christmas .
CP Okon said “for those who are desirous of doing last minute operation to have wonderful new year celebration,I want to warn that they better stay out of such activities,because we will ensure criminals don’t have a field day in Rivers State”.
CP Okon stated that the tactics employed towards during the Christmas period worked effectively.
He gave the summary of the achievement of the command as From October 5 to December 30,2022 as follows
