Reports reaching Revelation Agents say the Female Police officer attached to Eagle(Commissioner) Crack unit in Rivers State who was accused of clutching late Chima Ikwunado manhood has been detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department(SCID).
Victor Ogbonna one of the persons arrested alongside late Ikwunado who died in the detention facility of Eagle Crack Unit shortly after his arrest,had accused the female officer simply identified as Sergeant Rose of clutching late Ikwunado’s manhood while other officers were torturing him.
The spokesperson of Rivers state Police command,Deputy Superintendent of Police(DSP) Nnamdi Omoni told our reporter to send him a text message when our reporter put a call across to him on enquiry into the development but he was yet to respond to text messages sent by our reporter as at time of filing this report.
The six officers who were accused of torturing Ikwunado to death have been detained at SCID before now. DSP Omoni has also confirmed the detention of 4 officers at SCID.
The family of late Ikwunado and human rights organization believed he was tortured to death while in detention facility of the Eagle Crack Unit .DSP omoni had earlier said the commander of the Unit told him that autopsy report showed late Ikwunado died of high sugar.
