The Rivers State Commissioner of Police,CP Olatunji Disu has confimed reports of explosion of a device suspected to be dynamite around Presidential hotel axis of PortHarcourt,the state capital on Tuesday morning,25th June,2024
CP Disu while on a live programme on Channels Television on Tuesday night said investigation was ongoing to ascertain what actually happened.
The Rivers Police Boss also stated that he is neutral in the crisis in Rivers atate and will continue to stand on the side of truth.
The Rivers Police Chief also disclosed the Commissioner of Police in charge of Onne Port made huge seizure of guns which is being investigated.
CP Disu revealed the Rivers State Police Command has declared an unnamed militia wanted captured in viral threatening to take of Local Government Secretariats in Rivers State after he failed to honour Police investigation.
