Rivers State Government Takes Over Case Of Alleged Rape Of 16 Year Old Girl By Bishop Felix Okpara Duruebube

The case of alleged defilement of 16 year old girl by his Pastor, Bishop Felix Okpara Duruebube of Mercy House Church International has been taken Over by the Rivers State Government through the Ministry of Justice in the office of Attorney General of Rivers State.The Ministry brought a document on Wednesday,July 27,202 when the matter came up in Chief Magistrate Court 23 presided over by Chief Magistrate Obiareri Onugbum.The case has been adjourned to August 18,2022.
Recall that Bishop Felix Okpara Duruebube was arraigned by State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department on June 22,2020 on two count charge of rape and forcing the minor to swear an oath.
