Hundreds of Women in embarked on a peace walk today March 2,2019 to call for an end to political related killings in the area.
The women all dressed in black with several inscriptions like “Abonnema is not a battle ground”, “Vote not kill”, ” No man’s ambition is worth the blood of any AKULGAN”, all gathered in Abonnema headquarters of Akuko- Toro Local Government area of Rivers state,Nigeria
It will be recalled that over 10 persons were killed in Abonnema last Saturday February 23,2019 during the Presidential and National Assembly Elections
