The leadership of the third phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Rivers State Chapter has warn an individual allegedly impersonating the office of the National Chairman to desist forthwith or risk been expel from the program.

The Rivers State Chapter of the third phase of the PAP in a statement while criticizing one ELAYE SLABOH from Bayelsa State for allegedly parading himself as the National Chairman of the Third Phase of the PAP, a position he does not hold, said Bayelsa state has been championing the position from the beginning of the group until a meeting of five states.

In a statement jointly signed by the State Chairman, MARKSON ISERE, the Secretary, EBITARI SAMUEL, KINGSLEY SOLOMON, JUMBO DIEPRIYE amongst other leaders, the group said their decision to zone the National Chairmanship to Delta State was reached at a forum.

The Statement insisted that Ambassador PREYE EKPEBIDE and Alhaji LETUGBENE were unanimously agreed to be the National Chairman and Vice respectively and called on the Sole Administrator of Presidential Amnesty Programme, DENNIS OTUARO to intervene and cease any dealing with ELAYE SLABOH for the sake of peace in the region.

They also called on the Niger Delta Development Commission, Niger Delta Basin Authority, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, International Oil Companies and other relevant agencies to stop engaging SLABOH and redirect their dealings to the leadership of PREYE EKPEBIDE whonos the current National Chairman.
