The Social Economic Rights Accountability Projects(SERAP) has urged Cross Rivers State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade to ensure the unconditional and immediate release of Agba Jalingo from “illegal” detention.
SERAP in a statement on Christmas day 25 December 2019 said is wrong for Cross State Government to use criminal justice to persecute a journalist.
SERAP threatened to go to court if Agba Jalingo is not released.
