Many residents of Rumukparali and Ozuoba in Obi/Akpor local Government area of Rivers state,Nigeria have fled their homes following shooting and burning of property by cultists suspected to be loyal to an alleged Deygbam cult leader from Rumukparali community popularly known as “DaGeo”
The suspected cultists had yesterday June 15,2019 embarked on violent destruction of property in the area following the alleged killing and discovery of “DaGeo” dismembered head at a sand fill in the area

“DaGeorge” was said to have been arrested by men on Police uniform on Thursday 13,2019 but the Police has denied having him in their custody
In his reaction,the spokesperson of Rivers state Police command Omoni Nnamdi told Journalists that the command can not confirm if the said “Dageorge” is dead or not
As at press time heavily armed Nigerian soldiers have taken over the community to forestall further loss of life and property
