Nigeria Custom Service(NCS) lost one of it operatives and one other sustained injuries while performing statutory duty at Asero Community, off Old Ibadan Road, Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State,Revelation Agents has learnt
This was contained in a statement issued by NCS in its official twitter page today evening
The statement read that the smuggled items have been evacuated to Customs House Abeokuta.
NCS in the statement said 2 suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder and attack of officers on official duty.
NCS will henceforth not relent to use appropriate force to deal with this trend of violence from smugglers!!! the statement added
