Troops of 32 Artillery Brigade in Ondo state have rescued 5 kidnap victims and arrested 5 suspected kidnappers in Owo local Government area of Ondo state, Nigeria Revelation Agents has learnt.
A statement released by Captain Victor Olukoya, Assistant Director Army Public Relations 32 Artillery Brigade on April 16th,2019 explained that following kidnap incident at Integrated Agric Farm in Owo, the troops stormed the kidnappers hideout at Jugbere village early hours of April 16th,2019 where the victims were rescued and other four abductees escaped from the kidnappers on arrival of the soldiers
The statement said the suspects will be handed over to Civil authority for appropriate punishment
The Brigade Commander ZL Abubakar in the statement reassured residents of Ondo and Ekiti states of it commitment to protect lives and property and rid the state of criminal elements
Items recovered from the suspects include one dane gun, cutlasses, axe, ring of charm, catridges ,Handsets
The 32 Artillery Brigade urged the general public in Ondo and Ekiti states to reach them via 09030002151 or 09030002161 for reports of suspicious persons or security issues
