A 40 Years old man known as Franklin Orlukwere who allegedly abducted and raped a thirteen years old girl in Upata kingdom in Ahoada East local Government,Rivers State,Nigeria on Monday June 10,2019 was arrested yesterday evening June 14,2019 by His Royal Majesty, Eze Felix Enene Otuwarikpo, PhD, JP. We gathered that the suspect who has been on the run after the incident was finally apprehended yesterday and handed over to the Police in Ahoada East
The incident had drew wide spread condemnation after the pictures of the 13 years old Basic 3 pupil surfaced online
When contacted comrade Oyagiri Monday Special Adviser on Media to HRM Felix Enene Otuwarikpo confirmed the arrest of the suspect .
He said “His Royal Majesty swung into action after He learnt of the incident,He mobilized the Youths in the area to go in search of the suspect after the incident on June 10,2019”
Comrade Oyagiri stated that the suspect was apprehended yesterday and handed over to the Police
He stated that the Traditional institution in the area has ZERO tolerance for all forms of crime
He added that His Royal Majesty and people of the kingdom expects the Police to carry out proper investigation and ensure Justice is served in the matter
