The Nigeria Army says it may have no option than to call for closure of all Amnesty International offices in the country if recklessness of the Non Governmental Organization in publishing fabricated stories on alleged human right abuses against the Nigeria Military continues
A statement by the Director of Public Relations Nigeria Army Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman realeased,Today, December 17th,2018 read that the branch of the Amnesty International (AI) in Nigeria that has hitherto been well respected has deviated from core values,principles and objectives of AI domicile in United Kingdom
The statement further alleged that there is credible information that AI in Nigeria is determined to destabilize the Nigerian nation through fabrication of fictitious allegations of alleged human rights abuses against Nigeria security forces and clandestine sponsorship of dissident groups to protest unfounded allegations against the leadership of Nigeria Military
The statement noted that AI have tried over the years using BokoHaram terrorist conflicts, some activists,Islamic Movement of Nigeria and now Herders- Farmers clashes
The statement revealed that AI is at the verge of releasing another concocted reports against the Nigeria Military ostensibly against the Nigeria Army.
The statement advised the public to be wary of AI whose mission is to dismember Nigeria
