The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has stated that it will only recruit Ad-hoc staff from well known institutions; the position of INEC was made known via its official twitter handle on Sunday, November 4, 2018.Read the full tweets below:
For the avoidance of all doubts, INEC will only recruit ad-hoc staff for the 2019 elections from well known institutions as follows: 1. Youth Corps members – from the NYSC.
2. Students – from federal Government-owned tertiary educational institution
3. Federal civil servants – from federal Government agencies, including tertiary educational institutions in the states of recruitment. The requests for these potential ad-hoc staff are made directly to the various institutions.
Display of National Register of Voters at Polling Units level & hearing of Claims & Objections at Registration Area level in preparation for the 2019 General Elections starts from 6th – 12th November 2018 in accordance with sections 19 & 20 of the Electoral Act 2010 (as Amended)
The time is 9am to 3pm each day.
