A woman known as Amaka Ifediba has accused a female Inspector known as Otobong in State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department(SCIID),Port Harcourt of alleged compromise in a case involving her four year old female daugther.
Speaking to Journalists in Port Harcourt,Ifediba pleaded with the Commissioner of Police,CP Eboka Friday to prevail on Inspector Otobong to re-arrest the sixteen year old male suspect popularly known as Uche for possible arraignment in the court.
Ifediba explained that the suspect was arrested by Elekahia Divisional Police headquarters on 26th December 2020 and transfered to SCIID, Port Harcourt on 4th February, 2021.
The woman who wept profusely while fielding questions from Journalists expressed shock that the Police instead of arraigning the sixteen year old suspect in Court released the suspect.
She disclosed that all her plea to Inspector Otobong for the suspect to be arrested has fell on deaf ears as the Police Officer is now shifting the responsibility of re-arresting the suspect to her.
