A Human rights/constitutional lawyer ,Inibehe Effiong Esq has disagreed with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State,Nigeria on the planned auctioning of vehicles of violators of lockdown order by the Rivers State Government in Obio/Akpor and PortHarcourt local Government areas of the state.
Effiong Esq,who is also the National Legal Adviser of African Action Congress in a tweet on Friday in his verified tweeter handle said ” You’re embarrassing the legal profession. Tomorrow you will attack the federal government over arbitrariness but you’re acting like a sole administrator in Rivers State. You’ve no authority to auction people’s vehicles. Your tyranny is getting out of hands. Stop this illegality”.
